Hope it's ok to post my first tenor attempts here? I started playing alto about 5 years ago, but have had a couple of years off and just back to playing. I got my first tenor sax at christmas and have just made my first recording. A bit of a test really, both of a new mouthpiece and my new Zoom H2n recorder.
If I can get to grips with some recording software, I may be able to start editing recordings - as it is it's just me noodling and it does go on a bit!
Anyway, here it is. Please be kind.

you need to remove the # sign from the links then they will work.

You really do have a lovely tone and a natural way you move around the sax made mine sound a bit laboured great to have you posting I hope you'll be having a go at BOTM I certainly intend to now .....john

You are a natural Di.

For all you folks who are classing themselves as beginners, and are waiting, until all the issues you feel you have with your playing are sorted, before recording and posting, they never will be.

The better you get, the higher your standards become and perfection is as elusive as it ever was.

The recording process brings with it the side effect of improvement and marking it so you can see for yourself your progress.

Thanks for the comments guys. Having just started on the tenor, I'm more concerned with the tone I'm getting. Not sure that it's a proper tenor tone if you know what I mean.

Ballad of the month. Girls and their bottoms? It took me a while to stop playing alto on the tenor.

Tone should be the least of your worries it's brilliant,and sorry thought you new every ones been shortening Ballad Of The Month to BOTM as colin has said....john

The clip I just posted on here is with a Zoom H2n. I haven't had it very long and only done this and one other recording with it, but I found it pretty easy to use and I'm a bit of a technophobe!
