EDIT: Oh my, just been to look on the sax book shelf, and I find I already have the same book which was given to me with the sax itself. I'd clearly put it to one side thinking it would be too advanced for me! It doesn't have the CD, but I can live without that ....... now I can look at exactly the page you mentioned and know exactly what you're playing about with and having fun!

Note to self : go back to Amazon Wish List and remove this one, already duplicated Scales and Arpeggios!

It's a really good book, with a bit of supplement you can progress pretty quickly even for beginners. I mostly hunted it down because outside of making a kid smile I would prefer to avoid any little lambs, twinkle twinkles or the like. It's really proven to be the right match for me. So much of this is just that too finding what's right for each one of us.
