Beginner Saxes Conn to Yamaha

About a year ago I got myself a Conn 10m tenor sax, after playing a Yamaha YTS-32 for over 12 years.
The ergonomics are indeed quite different, but after trying it for 30 - 60 minutes at the shop, I was convinced that I could manage it.
Now, about a year further, I have no problems with the ergonomics. Even switching between my Conn (tenor) and my baritone (modern style key-layout) goes without problems.
The biggest difference is of course in the sound, the Conn has a HUGE sound compared to the Yamaha. Just the kind of thing I was looking for.
If you want to play clasical music (or something that sounds similar), a Conn would not be the best sound (IMHO).

Many different Conn's over the years. The most popular Conn is well kept and good sounding Conn 10M Artist from the late 30's or early 40's. As Wonko wrote earlier big difference to play a Conn 10M Artist or a YTS 23/25,32,62 ..... . I'm hesitating if I should buy a Conn (Keilwerth made from the early 80's)? Just a few thousands more than I have to pay fro a used YTS 23 but less money than an old Conn Artist. It's not easy to pick the right saxes!!!!!!

Yes, the one I tried is the model wo rolled toneholes. It's like a Couf II. I'm also thinking of a Conn (UMI, same as Armstrong w rth.) like wide bow saxes. Both of them I very good condition. It's a 6 hours car ride to collect them. Good sellers. They can play and understand saxes. A little bit more money but ......
