Misc recording Conn 10M with Brilhart Ebolin 3* m.p

I haven't posted a recording online except for my "rebuilt" tarogato sound samples a while back. However, I just recently made this recording for an Ebay ad and thought I would share it here as well (since I am exposing myself in public anyway).

Unlike many adult members of this forum, I am not new to the saxophone having started at age 10 in 1957. After 55 years I really should be much better at it than I am, but I gave up practicing years ago and just play for fun.

The vintage Conn tenors help me to produce my concept of sound with less effort than any other make or model---the awkward ergonomics notwithstanding. I would normally play on a mouthpiece that is a bit brighter when pushed than the vintage Brilhart, but it seemed to be a very good match for the 10M for tone and intonation.

After getting "reacquainted" with m'lady making the recording, it is even harder to sell her. :crying: But I really need the money this time of year, and it will be fun to search the pawn shops and garage sales for her replacement.

Thanks for the compliment. I didn't get any nibbles the first time around, so she has been relisted. There are lots of 10M's up for sale right now in the states. The longer it takes, the harder it's going to be when she's gone.
