It’s difficult for me to concentrate on the sound alone, because the intonation is badly out. That said, I prefer this sound to your other mouthpiece.

Regarding intonation, when you play notes with the octave key, i.e. the upper register, your intonation is basically OK. In the lower register (without the octave key) you are quite flat.

This is not the mouthpiece’s fault. I suggest working on your air support. It sounds to me as if you are tightening your embouchure as you go into the second register, which raises the pitch. If you push your mouthpiece farther on, and work at NOT tightening up for the upper register, and also work on your air support, this will straighten out.

Because there is so much emphasis put on the embouchure in online videos, and because it is sort of unnatural to hold your mouth this way, many amateur players put way too much emphasis on embouchure. Air support, by which I mean strong belly muscles held firm and controlling your air, is much more important.

Any reasonable embouchure will work fine if your air support is good. By “reasonable” I mean firm (not clenched!) muscles in the face but only enough pressure on the reed to control it. Think of your mouth as a firm cushion for the reed, and a seal around the mouthpiece. Then control everything with your air.

These are common issues for many saxophonists. It’s actually quite a physical effort to play a wind instrument correctly. But the effort is in your core, not your face!
