Hi to all again, not been here for a while (mum got the big C) but thats not a note!!!!!

anyway, i got the book i ordered, the art of saxOphone playing, and its great.

word of warning to all new players, i got my tenor from the net, thought i was doing great with it, but started getting probs with all below F, took it to a repairer, well, the things that were wrong with it are too long to list, i got it cheap but now know my folly, the guy i took it to repaired it and its now fine but if you can, spend a decent amount and get a named brand, and if second hand then get it checked out asap.

Hey, know all about the dodgy saxes of the net, a pupil of mine got one online, and in the end had to be totally scrapped.

Unfortunately also know too well about mum's with the big C (mum and brother in space of a year - you could say they were playing that C in harmony) hope she's ok, and also hope your ok, know it can't be the easiest time. Oli
