It's an Atus ATR30 - a cheap Taiwanese dynamic cardiod. To my cloth ears it works as well for recording purposes as the SM58, a Sennheiser vocal mic or the SD Systems clip-on that I use for live. I don't find microphones very interesting - it sounds ok to me so I just leave it set up in my room.
