Beginner recording A number of firsts for me...

So, I have been learning Tenor since January and I first dipped my toe in the recording water last week and today is the first time I have tried uploading anything. A newbie on many levels.

Thank you - this is my rental TJ Horn 88 together with a newly acquired (from ebay less than half price) Jody Jazz Giant 6* and Vandoren ZZ 2.5 reeds. I am enjoying this saxophone lark!

well done. given the time you have played that is very good indeed.

a small point which may help. try to think of the words to the song.

for example. the opening couple of phrases:
"She gets too hungry ...
for dinner at eight..."

5 syllables each........

You are doing 6 for the first phrase and 4 for the 2nd.

Not a huge thing at your early stage, but it can be a big help in respect of rhythm, to think of the words when learning tunes.

Im trying not to sound too critical as you are doing great in such a short time, so please dont take it as such. Just a little idea.
