Nice version of one of my favourite tunes.

Has this been a ballad of the month yet ? There are great versions on my iPhone by Dexter (tenor), Zoot Sims (soprano) and Richie Cole (alto).

#Rhys, I don't think it's been called yet Rhys, it seems to have slipped under the ballad radar. 'Dexters' version is great as is Zoot Sims. The later being a new one to me so that was good. Thanks for the comments🙂

I think you shouldn't keep butter near you when you play the tenor, it will only melt.

Wow, talk about a lush 'warm' sound (ribbon mic?) Love it.

ll Padrino, the mic is a 'Samson CO1 'condenser'. Normally about 2'/3' slightly off to
right of the sax and level with the strap hook. No eq and just enough reverb so I
can hear it. More than likely always a little too much. >:)
