Reeds What Reed

Firstly my apologies. I'm sure this subject has been walked all over in the past but I cant find it.

My local Music Store ( Who shall remain anonymous at the moment) Informed me the reeds I love and live by are going out of production. I'm sure this is not the case, and I know many of you use the same brand. I intend to inject this into my local music man (Steve) as evidence of such folly.

The reeds I speak of are "RICO JAZZ SELECT." So who uses these. I wish there was a tick box but cant see that survey option either.

Nachoman. Its all confirmed my thoughts. My local shop just cant be bothered to go the extra mile when providing customers with what they need. I will continue to order my bits on line from sax.co

... they're still advertised on the Ricoreeds.com site?! Plenty around online in the UK too.

I'll be cleaning out Myatt's in Hitchin soon, as long as Saxlicker doesn't get there first. I wouldn't mind too much about the RJS disappearing, myself, as I'll very happily use Superials, but Myatt's don't stock them, so it can be a bit of a trek to get them.
