RIP.

Looks like you lost everyone Bill. 34 views so far, and no replies...

I guess this is a lament for Steve Jobs. Who'll be sorely missed.

And Mr Jansch.

Kev,
I always assumed sax players would be more intelligent than trumpeters.

Sadly mistaken.

BTW:-Is that any good for the Forum?

Didn't lose me, but then I am an Apple using alto/trumpet player. A sad day...................

If it's any consolation, I understood two of the three references...

I remember when I was a clerical worker (before I moved into IT) visiting our IT site on the south coast. I was ushered into a large meeting room where the IT people were being given a pre-launch preview of the Apple Macintosh. It was so early that only some of the programs behind the icons were working. This was 1982 (?) and I think I was present at one of the first viewing of the Apple in the UK.

At the end of the demonstration, there were a lot of confused IT people saying things like very clever, but how would you use it and would anyone ever use one?

Little did they know. Great loss.

And Mr Jansch.

I didn't know about Mr Jansch.

Didn't pass me by either, but I didn't respond as I felt I couldn't make reference to the third without getting political.

Saw Mr Jansch but once - with Pentangle in about 1970. Sad Loss.

So far I've managed to avoid anything "i".

SP may not be standing but some other barking nitwit will.

I'm a saw playing, PC using liberal and I got all three................. :)

Sorry!

No prizes.
