The nicest thing anyone ever said to me was after a show where I just joined the band for their last three songs. He said I was like a nice salsa. The band was already an excellent burrito but then I came up and took it to the next level. At the time I probably scoffed and said nobody wants to eat a bowl of salsa but it stuck with me. Now I find myself spending a lot of time trying to come up with a burrito recipe that complements my salsa. I don't think I'm there yet. The MPC is a key ingredient that definitely needs more practice.
