After I've played:
1. Pull through a swab a couple of times.
2. Insert a Pad Sawer
3. Dry all pads with pad paper (no powder), especially the closed keys.
4. Pull out the Pad Sawer.
Same procedure goes for the neck.
When I transport my sax I let the Pad/Neck Savers stay inside the tube and neck during transport. Neck is stored in a pouch inside the bell. I also use key clamps.
