Tech/maintenance Renovation

Second and possibly the major issue is the holes ( see images). At first I was thinking decoration, but I was wondering if maybe it’s from a stand ?
Of course all the pads are gold sprayed, two posts are detached and many keys don’t fit due to the dents. I’m in for quite a ride on this one.
Anything to report ? If I were handed this I would make it play with minimal effort. Just make play to see if I like it at all. Reattach the two posts. Get the pads to seal & regulate to reasonably usable. Tape over the holes. Oil well and play.

Maybe half a goat? I guess it would depend on which half…
One of my most traumatic food experiences was purchasing a skewer of something roasted over a drum charcoal grill in Sumatra while engaging in a conversation with the vendor.

It was goat stomach in peanut butter. And I could not drop it / throw it into the jungle because he asked me how I liked it. I didn't!

Imagine fried washers soaked in peanut butter. After being soaked in something secreted by the anal glands ....

The mere thought still gives me goosebumps. I managed to swallow one bite and then slowly walked away (add Nicholas Cage posture here) ...

I generally do NOT approve of remakes of old films, but gotta admit, that one was really, really good.

Partly because it was also a love story so the ending of it really, really hits you in the heart, it was emotionally wrenching...as opposed to it just being "evil monster gets destroyed at end, good guys win".

GOAT is confusing me. Greatest of all time?
It's a bizarre reversal of the term. Historically, the Goat was opposite the Hero.

So, in sports for example, up until, I dunno, around the turn of the century and into early 2000...if an athlete was labeled the Goat, it means they screwed up or disappointed, or were the reason the game was lost.

I found it strange when the term started being used for the quintessential opposite....and I still don't like it (grumble, grumble)...

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
