Out of Tune Saxophone

Oh, the hours I spent, often late into the darkest hours of night learning and practicing calligraphy.
The blots and the blotting paper. Washing my inky fingers and nibs.
Later learning to to draw a perfect curve freehand with a Rapidograph.
And then came hot lead, Letraset, and photo-typesetting machines.
And what have we got now? For the most part - Instant digital visual dirrahoea.
Designers who think Aral is a gas station and couldn't tell a Times from a Garamond to save their lives.
Bah, humph and poppycock !!!

You forgot to mention gool ol' Chartpak....

Given how badly you let yersel' down; is groveling enough?
I can grovel for several days on end, I can also do briar partches, crawling and snivelling.
Haven't done boot licking yet but as long as they're real leather and smeared with ketchup or a curry sauce . . . who knows?

Oooh, really ? Not over there on that side of Pond ?

Right in the '70's=80's pocket of graphic/illustration design tools such as Rapidographs and Letraset......
