That's the joy of coming to the sax from a harmony instrument like the guitar. If you can understand the basics of harmony it helps with the development of meaningful lines instead of just noodling. After a long time neglecting my guitars I'm slowly building up a new relationship with them again, especially my Lakewood acoustic which despite the neglect sounds like heaven. I've even started singing again God forbid!Since this post has been resuscitated I could mention that my guitar is right here next to the desk, facing the sax when it's on its stand or in the case. Thus far, no incidents have been perpetrated and the guitar sometimes helps me with hearing chord changes.
