RIP Malcolm 'Molly' Duncan - I loved the Average White Band - the funkest bunch of Scots ever...when Pick Up The Pieces was released in the States the Americans thought the band was a bunch of African American guys from NYC or Chicago - and in fact were a mob of Jocks.,..and the album produced by a Turk ...Celtic / Turkish funk at its best...? Molly Duncan came to NZ in the early 1980s when he played at Sweetwaters with the Eurythmics...AWB live at Montreaux is a great watch...
