Put on the Martin mouthpiece and struggled at first! Perseverance paid off and I found a very "smokey" kind of sound. Really easy to play top and bottom end, key work is unusual due to no levers just pearl keys. Pinky table (or lack of it) was surprisingly easy to adjust to and extremely finger friendly. Will try a couple of mouthpieces today as the Martin is not right for me.

It has that unmistakable sound of Martin but darker and richer - difficult to describe!

My "Typewriter" just arrived. It is in near perfect condition with an original Martin case and mouthpiece. Very pleased..!!

And there was me thinking you wanted a Yamaha

/runs away and hides in the deepest darkest forest :)
