Left Hand Pinky Keys out of alignment

And we never did figure out quite why the table keys had gone out of alignment. Everything worked, everything lined up - and there were none of the usual tell-tale signs of a bent key or a misaligned bell. Very puzzling.
But we did manage to find a rather large leak on the G key (at the rear) and another on the low C (at the lower side)...and we had some time for a bit of reed advice too.

I've stopped putting my horns in the boot when travelling. I like then to be in the passenger compartment with me. Apart from the extra padding, it also reminds me to drive more defensively and dodge the pot holes. The Baritone fares a lot better since I lined the case with a chopped up, memory foam, mattress topper. I had plans to upholster the foam in place but it works well enough with a little faffing in jigsaw/kit form.
