Hi all, waiting to my new Law buzzer tenor mp come's and cant wait, been wanting one for a while and know Rhyonsax got all 3 model's of the law piece's and raved about them, some great sound clip's,info on Neffmusic's site and Mojo's site. They look so well made and am sure i will love it.Got it through top guy Pete Scadden at Studiosaxophone's in Abergavenny in wale's ,got my 66r Mauriat off him in the past and he's a pleasure to deal with and so humble.I will post my thought's on my new toy when it come's,lucky old me 😉

Dai Vach,
You'll be getting a visit from Owain's sons unless you use a capital letter for Wales and drop the genitive case. It is possible to play with false teeth but the changeover takes time and is painful. Only e.e.cummings is allowed lower case.

He didn't say wales he said wale's 😛

I've actually got 5 LAW models now ! And Lawrie has done some excellent refacing and chamber work for me too.

I think you will probably really like the Buzzer - the facings and finish on all Lawrie's pieces are superb. I am playing the Buzzer with Alexander DC reeds and liking it a lot.

It may be worth playing around with different ligatures - I like the Vandoren V16 Optimum and Lawrie also recommends the BG Jazz.

Gary, me old Smudger,
I also objected to the genitive case.
Still Tower Bridge, must make allowances, mutter, modern yoof, moan, etc., etc..
*Wanders off disappointed in the BR's literary tradition.*
E&OE.

The Law Buzzer came today and it hit's all the Mark's for me,the rail's are so thin. When you see the baffle you think this is going to be so bright,Guardala bright, but it is the best of both world's as you get great warmer bottom note's and fatter palm key note's.Lawrie Waldron has a gift and hope he keep's making these great custom piece's.?250.00 for a handmade mp is a great deal and you should grab yourself one now before thing's change.Get back to it now and thank's to Pete Scadden at Studiosaxophone's once more.

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
