Mine has a slant signature on it from Steve and in original condition. Gotta be worth tons more.

They're probably worth rather less. As my very good friend Jon Gooding says "Ah, the rare unsigned copy..."

I have both the clarinet and saxophone versions both unsigned. Now the bassoon version that would be worth something.

Ah yes, that's the Pre-Pentel sig. Very rare.

Mine is in mint condition and unmodified - no one would buy it as they would be suspicious that there would be something wrong with it or it was fake

You can never ever attach any importance either to very high and optimistic BIN prices, or to very low auction starting prices. As Stephen said - completed listings can give a more accurate idea. Having said that I still love this Amazon screenshot:

That one is way overpriced, I would be happy to sell mine for £4500 and the buyer wouldn't have to wait 1-3 weeks for delivery.
