Mouthpieces graftonite mouthpieces

I recently got a Baritone Graftonite and its awesome, even more so when you consider it only cost me ?17.50!!

I think Tom got one for his new sop and likes it, I play Brilharts on Alto and tenor so don't feel the urge to get one.

Its a fairly neutral tone, but the upper register is wide open and free blowing, much more so than the Yamaha 6C I was using. The openings for bari are limited for some reason, but they are all designed by Arnold Brilhart so they will be pretty good what ever one you need SATB.

Good luck

Yeah I'll second that. Got one for me tenor, a 5C, great when you get used to it. I was using a Yammy 5 before, which is a smaller diameter, outside, so found the Graf a bit of a mouthful at first, but now I'm used to it, I am starting to get that nice jazzy sound I want, also the low notes easier to get, so between us, should get there eventually. I think it s a mistake to think, as a beginner, you can only get the right tone with the right mpc, although it helps, it's a combination of you and your mpc. I M V H O. And only ?17, that put me off at first, you only get what you pay for and all that!
:erm: :S 🙂 :w00t:

Hi Phil!

Thanks for correcting that mistake. I was in SW19 on a different computer when I posted and didn't have my Bookmark to hand so was operating from memory alone. Given the price you are unlikely to need a chartered accountant to help buy one! 😛

Kind regards
