Hello All.
I am a retired eng from Kent, UK with a teen son who became serious about jazz and the saxophone; I started off as a bystander and got turned into a sax technophile Ouch! Which is why I now regularly refer the many informed contributions kindly posted by members of this forum?

It was how I became an archery coach - my daughter was the "expert" archer, I was a bystander, slowly learning the ropes for 8 years, now I do the coaching and she has gone off to Uni!

All things Japanese are Taboo in my household. This antiness springs from the early '70s, when they flooded the market with cheap transistorised Lo-Fi.
I was a staunch, 'Quad' valve amp, Spendor speakers, Garrard 401/SME/shure combi, Hi-Fi fanatic!
However I'm always willing to learn. So a translated version of the aforementioned art form would be mightily appreciated.
