Good Sax Tech in Merseyside/Wirral area, north west UK

Hi All,

As per my previous thread are Alan McGinnity, my previous sax tech has retired to shrewsbury, and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations as to a good tech in the north west, specifically the Merseyside/Wirral region.

Having spoken to Curly woodwind they say that they have been doing most of their repairs in-house rather than sending them to Alan over the last few years as he has been winding down, so they can do most repairs that don’t require soldering, has anyone had an experience with Curlys in-house repairs?

I’ve had a few minor tweaks on my R&C and had a sax serviced and set up by Bob, excellent !
I bought my King Zephyr from Curly and not had a problem with it, it’ll be getting a service in a few months time from Bob
