A plastic cowbell by any other name. Could you set up a row of different-sized blast-blocks as a kind of tuned percussion instruments? Tom Waits would be interested, probably.

Bobby - yes I think there are different sizes, if anyone really wanted to play the things as an instrument - we are close to invading on the "I hate musical instruments thread" here though!

Cowbell-like, it most certainly is not - it's a very loud wood-block type noise, but at a volume that knocks your ear-drums out if you are too close to the thing. I don't bother miking it up........

I guess Gaffa Tape for us North Americans is equal to Duct Tape? Also noticed nobody mention "Safe Sax" mmmm.
Couple of Maraca eggs work well to keep the older tent followers happy too!! :whistle:

You're right Richard, Gaffa tape (or to give it it's correct name, apparently, gaffer's tape) is the same as duct/duck tape.

I used to have a sax case built almost entirely from Duct (not gaffer) tape. Lasted for years! You can do anything with the stuff - apart from ducting, an electrician once told me. . . ironic, that!
