This is exercise 37 from 80 graded studies for Saxophone. Every note is Staccato.

I know there are numerous mistakes in my playing.. 😉 I wouldn't mind if someone says it is crap..

It's crap..... no seriously good for you for posting, that's what this area of the Café is all about. 🙂

I actually am too near the beginning of my studies to offer anything useful but it sounds like you are playing with confidence which is great and hopefully someone with more experience will offer something useful for you.

Actually there are a lot of good things about your performance. The eighth notes (quavers) are quite even and steady. You are also using a good amount of air which gives energy to your sound. If you don't mind I would like to make a few suggestions with this exercise with regards to the staccato style piece. I had my recording set-up already out for another project when I read your post, so I put together a short "tutorial" on staccato style and posted it on Soundcloud. Staccato tutorial
