Accepted that I'm 'thick', but could someone who speaks the lingo (properly, not computer wizardry) translate that for me... have I got it right or am I dreaming!

Hope all is well, best to you, Alastair and Jenny.

Hi Ken,
Long time no hear. Hows things in sunny Spain?? Can't believe how quickly time goes. (Miss your emails, always put a smile on my face 🙂 ). Am adding to the instruments in our house, have bought a bass and an electric guitar for the boys so guess we are going to have a noisy christmas!!
Drop me a line when you get a mo, let me know how you are

😛

Hey Maria, don't even talk about the Spanish sunshine!, it's coming down as wet dollops (rain) up in this mountain and I'm just off to log up the fire, followed closely by curling up in front of it.

When you say you've bought the boys a Bass, is that a Bass Guitar, Double Bass, sommit else, or has Alastair raised the workshop roof to accommodate Bass Saxes?. Hope the eldest is still doing well on Clarinet. Did you ever get roped into playing the Piano for the school?

Oh well, catch you later.

BTW... anything you want from Spain?
Ken.
PS: Back to business... does this mean that we now have an official Hanson query/question answering sweetheart on the forum (I know you've been 'looking' for some time... women 😛 )

Hey Henry Sellmore,
Qu'est-ce que c'est? Le Sax ce n'est pas Fran?ais !!! Alors, Monsieur Le Sax was Le Belgique, eh mon ami, beaucoup de rosti boeuf avec un bucket full of Stella Artois dans le derriere. Sacre red white and bleu. Robbing a pauvre imigrant of his invention, Tous les Sellmores that I ever owned always avez les screws deloose, and falling off sur le trottoir . . . rumble . . . rumble . . . mutter . . . mutter . . .

I haven't been able to translate any of the recent posts in foreign languages, but it looks to me as if some disrespect is being shown towards Mr. Selmer. If this is correct, I wish it would stop. I used to own one of his T'n'B amplifiers and it was very nice. Well, it sounded nice, but the screws and volume/tone knobs had a tendency to fall off it.

Cheers, Bob
