Mouthpieces Booty metal tenor

That ‘review’ of the Branchers was one of the best you’ve written and I thoroughly enjoyed it. With that in mind may I suggest you consider writing your memoirs or condense the posts on your website to a book. I for one want a signed copy.
Glad you liked it - it was fun to write! And maybe one day an autobiography!

Ok, so you’re found two🤣. What an interesting adventure.
One burning question. How much would you had paid for the Duckoff. £30 ?
I'm looking forward to it!
Oh yeah, I'd have paid £30 for it back in the day. Might even have gone to £50 as I'd still be able to sell it at a profit. I just didn't expect to end up playing it for decades.

Spent yesterday afternoon putting both pieces through their paces. Even had a small crowd outside the house at one point. I shoulda run out with a hat.

The E is incredibly versatile. Rock, blues, soul, jazz...it slots in nicely. The very best part of it is that I now have a gigging piece that I can actually practice on - the previous pieces were such monsters that I could never really relax with them.
Finished up the session by putting the piece in my horn case - where it belongs.

Did some experimenting with the J and a lump of Blu-Tack. Bloody typical - spent ages crafting various thinned and tapered baffles without quite hitting the sweet spot - and finally just squished a lump in any old how. Bingo!
I'll play with it a bit more but it's already very clear that too much of a baffle just turns it into an E series...which is rather pointless. I'm liking it though - and I've already noticed that I'm beginning to get more out of it in its stock form.
