These pictures don't do the mouthpiece and lig justice, they are really attractive, wish I had had the time to try one 🙂

Please note that scary (although intriguing) "10" on the mouthpiece.
7 is equally attractive.

It`ll be very interesting to hear the reports from any of you who get to Howarths to try one (or if they send one to Aldevis or David Roach to review 😉 )
.

Ligatures on their way, I will report to the cafe.
There are a few comments and reviews around the net, including some full reviews of mine on Spiderman's favourite saxophone forum. @David Roach tried some of mine, but they are not his favourite facing.

Does the facing have a short lay or something ?

I have s7 a7 t9. He (usually) plays s5 a5 t7*

A passaround seems on the way....

David Roach · Dec 9, 2014

The ones I tried were too open for me to be comfortable, I like fairly closed tips on alto around a 5 or 6, and certainly nothing more than a 7.

I`m more in your bracket there - s7 , a7, t9 so long as they`re not short lay pieces . I`d love a try on a pass around ,it`d be interesting to try all three ... what`s the baffle situation with them ?

ProfJames · Dec 9, 2014

I would err to the side of the Talk Talk man and opt for a 5 or 6 max on alto

You might try to convince him to release some alternate take from his forthcoming trio album.
I heard one track and immediately took the resin piece out of the drawer.

I've just bought a absolute alto+ from Howarths, very impressed with this piece so far,the quality is up there with the best and the lig is superb.
These are worth checking out if your in the market.
