Those of you with Freesat, not sure if this applies to Sky or Virgin but what is that dirge that they play whilst waiting for the next programme to start on the twenty-four Olympic Channels?

Like the arrangement for the musical instruments but those voices, indistinct and horrible but maybe it is just my sensitive nature.

I get it on Virgin Media and it's enough to make me reach for the earplugs- some-one of OG's sensitive disposition must be mightily offended by it. On reflection, some-one must like it enough to inflict it on the rest of us but it's not my cup of Tetley's, that's for sure. Just hope the composer hasn't been engaged for the closing ceremony.

What do you feel about the mysterious Olympic Broadcast boyos who provide the 24 channels?

BBC are good for velodrome events but these bozos can't provide enough cameras for the team sprint or the pursuits and are unable to access a line from the PA system resulting in a demonstration of echoes on their background mike.

Memorandum:-Do not use their sound engineer on your gigs.
