Thought's on Vandoren Java Alto MP please.

Any one got any thought's on Java mp's please.Not Jumbo Java,just java. 8|

I have had a java A45 for a long time now and it's very good on my YAS 62.
These horns are generally considered quite bright (if they are, mine isn't significantly bright). But the Java did fatten and warm up the sound the sound. Not a hint of stuffiness either.


Just so you know where I'm at, it's my 3rd best piece.
I have an RPC90R which increased everthying I said about the A45 but with too much power for my home usage in 2nd place.
A GW NYMC #8 slots right down the middle of those 2 and is therefore my favourite. If you consider this option go a hint wider than normal.

I forgot to ask How is Altissimo on Java's. >.<

Not much help as Altissimo on alto isn't greatly explored by me but as your question is so far otherwise unanswered.
Bb, A and if you include front fork F, F# have been my limits but the Java is the mouthpiece I learned these on and they split tone if I want.

I used an A45 on alto for a long time, and altissmo is great. In fact, the Dave Stewrt session clip on my altissimo pages is done with an A45. It would be my choice for a backup alto mouthpiece if I lost the RPC.
