I hope that this isn't duplicating another thread. I did a search and didn't find anything.
I just received my copy of Pete Thomas' reissue of the original Buescher Band Instrument Co. "The Story Of The Saxophone" and felt as though I traveled in a time machine back to the 1920's. It is beautifully printed in color on high gloss paper and is a delightful read from beginning to end.
Anyone who loves vintage saxophones, or is interested in the history of the instrument would love this publication. Many thanks to Pete Thomas for spending his time, energy, and resources to share this with the rest of us. This would make a perfect gift for a friend or relative who plays a Buescher saxophone.
