Years ago I used to see an old man walking in the park always talking to himself.
After phones became common so most people on their own were alway 'talking to themsevelves' I saw him one day sitting on a bench with his hand up to his ear chatting away.
Got closer, he was holding a pine cone.

I’ve seen lots of people holding apples and blackberries but not pine cones. New product?

This past week I was with my wife at J.C. Penney, a clothing store. My wife handed the cashier a coupon for a discount on a dress. Then I told her, "Similarly, us men have Harbor Freight (a discount tool store - mancave stuff) coupons. We don't think about how much we spend but how much we saved, when we show up at home with that 25 gallon air compressor."

She started laughing. She mentioned that all her husband uses it for is to air up the kid's swimming pool toys.
