Is anyone here a member of this? What are the benefits of membership? I'm on the cusp of signing up, is it worth it?

Don't know. I'm not a member, but I've seen their monthly magazine which is full of good stuff, including features on well known players. .

I've been a member for about 30 years. When I lived in Nottingham I used to go to quite a few events organised by them. Now I reside in the wilds of Kent I'd have to go to London or further to participate. So I don't. The mag's ok but I wouldn't like to say whether or not it's good value.

Long time member can't remember how many years.

The magazine is quarterly and for me is the main benefit of membership. There are usually one or two good articles, some gig alerts, some music reviews. The classified ads occasionally have some good stuff.

The CASS music library is also good.

I'm a member. The mag is useful - great source of info on courses/play days etc. You sometimes get a discount on these as a member.
