Saxophones Some different saxes including one with no keys!

Dr. Paul Cohen not only have one of the largest and most complete collections of saxophones, he is also one of the most knowledgeable people in the world when it comes to vintage saxophones. He is also a very fine classical saxophonist having played with many of the major symphony orchestras. There are a few self described "experts" on saxophones in my country, but Dr. Cohen is the "real deal".

Yes, I am that guy. Thank you for the kind words. The alto keyless saxophone was made for me by the Selmer company in Elkhart in a request I made while being given a tour of the plant (that made Bundy saxes). Similar to the Rascher keyless saxophone, it is a great instrument to demonstrate overtones. The soprano keyless sax was made for me recently by Music Medic, and it serves the same purpose, but looks even more cool!

What a great video. I shall have to bookmark it to show to my wife if she ever suggests that I have too many saxophones (is 6 too many ?). Thanks for posting and sharing it.
