Tenor may be king but alto is president. Long live the republic.

I don'know how any one considers themselves a saxophonist without owning sop, alto, tenor and bari.

Each one teaches us something about the others.

I'm not sure it would make me a proper saxophonist anyway...

I've always heard my voice as high, so bari/bass make no sense. Tenor, if it wasn't so big and heavy would be nice, but a big investment. If someone sends me one, I'll try it though.
