First of all thanks to all the replys for embouchure (correctly spelled)
My next qustion is that of a reed nature
Im curently using rico royal 1.5 reeds
I have noticed that the leading or front edge of some the reeds can
be a little wavy or rippley.
Will this affect the sound quality or squarkability of said reed being played through
the mouthpiece.
Regards Allansto.

As the car dealer said, 'They all do that sir'...

Keep them in the original plastic guard or a proper reed case, they then dry flat. As they moisten, they go ripply, but they're flat as you play. To prove it, put the moist reed on the mouthpiece (with lig) and use your thumb instead of lip to close it off. You'll see it lies nice and flat. So nothing to worry about.

I expected this to be about a new brand of reeds made in Northern Britain......................;}
