Reeds Reed Cases

Hi Colin!

I have a Vandoren hygrocase reed case for each Sax I play and they are excellent. I use 4 reeds in each and change them round each day (they are numbered 1 to 4 in the case so they each get played in rotation). Since I have used it my reeds last months at a time with a new one being added every so often when I need to retire one that has lost its mojo. I also soak them in mouthwash before playing so that they are hygienic and taste minty fresh!
I have used the for about 2 years and think they are spot on!

Couldn't recommend them highly enough!
Kind regards
Tom

I just keep mine in the holder that comes in the box, but these numbered cases sound like quite a good way of remembering which reed to use if you're using them in rotation. I'm like Sue though, not organised enough, and like Tom, not obedient enough to do it properly, I tend to go by the markings on the stock of the reed as to which one I use, and my favourite one tends to stay in my Mr Lucky's 'Sax-o-glue' holder, formed from an especially absorbent piece of card.
