Are you sure? Allegedly Charlie Parker used to practice 16 hrs. a day.5 hours a day for about 10 years ought to do it.

Thought I'd have a go at Donna Lee. It's not that difficult at slow speed. Lots of Rpeggios often starting on the third and going on up through 9ths. rhythm is easy. Quite a few flat 6ths. Many bars start on a chord tone approached from a semitone above or below. Anybody notice anything else?
