A squirt of Pledge on a duster is fine - car polishes and the like contain all sorts of fearsome chemicals, even mild abrasives, none of which are exactly saxophone-friendly.....

A quick hose down does for mine. There's too much time and money wasted on cars, A to B and then forget about it.
I used to say "Cars are the biggest waste of money next to women" , and then I met Carole my wonderful OH, who lets me waste? it on saxes.

Well, I'm here, still alive, and living in the house!!!

She wasn't a happy bunny at all when I told her on Friday, and she still wasn't talking to me on Saturday evening. But yesterday, we had friends round (all musical), and I thought I'd better not mention the sax - but she did!! "Tell them what you've bought then Nick". And I think things are ok now. She did say she expects a nice present for our anniversary on Wednesday - so I suppose I'd better go out tomorrow lunchtime and rob Ernest Jones!!!!
