I have looked in every jazz theory book I have access to and cannot find these alterations. F+7#9 (is this F7alt?), F+7 (whole tone scale?),
F+7b9 (dominant seventh using a dim. scale? or maybe Phrygian major?).

Any ideas would be a huge help.

not sure what your question, the voiceings are as follows

F+7#9
F.A.(C#is the +) Eb (g# is the #9)they are all dominant sevenths..
if thats not what you want, and scales are what you need i will see what i can do..

mfox is correct. That's F+7 #9

F+7 b9 is F A C# Eb Gb

(the F alt scale fits nicely with both of these)

Better to write the + after the 7 IMO.

F7+ is just F A C# Eb and a whole tone works nicley. So does an F alt (but would not be so good if it was F9+ as this would be F A C# Eb and G, in which case the whole tone is probably the best option)

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
