Mouthpieces Mouthpiece help needed.

Hey Everyone

Im Gregory and i have been playing sax fro about 7 years now. i am an intermediate player. i only play jazz music. I recently started to think about purchasing a new mouth piece but i don't know much about mouthpieces. i want a vintage jazzy sound from a mouth piece. Can anyone help with any suggestions?

If you play tenor, then you may try PPT. I have one and is great.

What mouthpiece/reeds are you playing now and what kind of sax is it? What sort of change are you looking for - volume/brighter/darker...

I play alto saxophone. I am currently using a selmer C * and using vanduren reeds number 2&half or 3. i dont really know what kind of sound i want yet. im just looking for a change. if you have any suggestions on any good mouthpieces that i should try, please tell.

If your after a jazzy sound, 1 that may be worth trying is E.Rousseau jdx jazz model. I use this on my alto and love it.
