Reeds Legere vs. Cane reeds?

Just purchased Legere reed. I have been using Cane reeds for 3 months as a beginner. Still a beginner very much so!!! my question is the Legere has a brighter sound where as the Cane reed has a deeper sound to it... Is there a mouth piece that would match the Legere to get that deeper sound from my tenor? Using a YAS23 tenor rental. Signature Legere with the mouthpiece that came with the rental. I don't think now is the time to worry about mouthpiece choice

As you play your embouchure will develop and you will find you can control your tone more easily. You may always notice a difference in tone between Legere and cane but you will find that a change to mouthpiece is likely to be a short term effect due to changes in your embuchure
