Hello all, Took the tribe to the Twinwood festival (mainly Glen Miller/40's) on Sunday. In the afternoon there was a band called the Jive Aces, had never heard of them before and wasn't expecting too much. WOW how wrong could we have been, the guy playing the sax, it was absolutely screaming, they must have been on for around an hour. They said they had done 384 gigs in the last 12 months! now that's commitment.
John Miller (Glens nephew), his band were good. All got off the stage at one point and wandered around in the crowd playing. 1st set was great, last set tailed off so we didn't see the end. Still a great day well worth going.

P.S Mild aerobatic display from a Spitfire at times at about 100' and probably 250mph+ (a guess, but it was screaming as well) was worth the trip alone.
