A pair of fiddle or double blocks, rope, an ascender, descender, cleat and body harness, can give you a four to one mechanical advantage.
My kit, for sailboat mast work, allows me to go up or down 50 feet.
Good to have a phone/radio, if your
rope gets tangled and lightning
is approaching. 🎶🏴‍☠️🎶
