Griff has a new Sax!!

Went to see him today to try and sort my Sax out(see other thread)

Anyways, he picked up an old sax of the devils junkyard for ?100 (forgot the name) says it plays better than his one

Come on Griff spill the beans, you don't buy a sax and then don't tell anyone (unless it's crap)

ok ok so the cats out of the bag.

I managed a small steal on ebay a few weeks back.

I won a nice vito (leblanc made) tenor sax made around 1970.

a full beefy tone, lovely action great patina, nice ergonomics, nice altissimo too( when i can be bothered to go up in that direction)

will post a few pictures in due course but in the meantime

but without the custom engraving

the engraving on mine is sortof a bkend between the selmer flowers and the buffet swirls.


and all for 99 quid!!!

just needed a new palm key pad and some cork on 3 key feet.
