Theory & Impro Do we really need theory?

If it's not true today, then it wasn't true yesterday. Science is "as far as we know"

Music on the other hand is "I didn't like that yesterday, but I do today.

Give me a diagram any day.

I had a very interesting discussion, after several beers, with a retired microbiologist, who has never learned to drive, on suck squeeze bang blow. A diagram would have helped.

scientists themselves only know what they think they know until they know something else.
Famous incident, in an international science technical meeting. A Greek colleague is being strongly disagreed with, finally loses it and shouts "you people think I know f*** nothing, but I tell you, I know f*** all"!
Finally something we agreed about.

Edit: Real scientists laugh together not at things or people we don't understand. That's for little people.

Apparently real scientists also like laughing at foreigners who haven't quite got a full command of English expletives.

However as for the 'famous incident':
“From David Niven's autobiography, Bring on the Empty Horses. Director Mike Curtiz to David Niven & Errol Flynn: "You lousy bums, you and your stinking language, you think I know **** nothing, well let me tell you— I know **** ALL!”
― David Niven
