Cork attachment on crook

Hello,

The picture below is that of the crook of a tenor I bought recently. Is the felt attached correctly?

Reason I ask is that the felt on my YAS275 goes all the way to the tip of the crook.

Shouldn't matter- as long as the cork (it's not felt) grips your mouthpiece effectively and seals properly.

It varies with manufacturer. My Yamahas have the cork to the end. My Walstein has a similar arrangement to yours.
