Need a crook corked in southend

Hi my usual guy is on holiday who does my repairs and my friend has just started playing and needs the cork replaced on his alto . Can anyone recomended anyone near southend on sea who could do this for him :) cheers .

Can't you do it for him? You can get everything you need for it for a fiver or so from saxmanjamie on eBay and it takes about five minutes. Really easy.

If he is the canadian guy that helped me once about clarinet pads, he is one of the nicest people on the net.
Highly recommended.

I ended up paying a bit more to have my horns recorked by professionals, but only because I hate cork dust in my flat and my favourite repairers are reasonably priced and a pleasure to listen to when they do the job.

What they said above. It comes with simple instructions. The first time may take you an hour or so but you'll get it down to 5 or 10 minutes once you've done a few of them.

Had a look at a video on youtube it was really good I still would rather someone else do it but if this is my only option at the moment I will give it a go :) cheers for your help guys .
