No, not just the website colours. We now have solar panels. They seem to work quite well, even on an overcast day the water gets heated to lukewarm. On a sunny day (even in october) the water is very hot. Amazing.

My Mum recently bought a house from some "green" developers. (Young couple's first go at building - solar panels, enegy efficient eveything, recycled god knows what.) House is so hot I have to go outside to cool down.

I predict big savings on your fuel bills

I was very impressed by the family who built a smallish water-wheel and diverted their stream to generate electricity, and ended up selling their surplus to the National Grid.

No...no....no..please no home made kits... a neighbour of ours built a little wind turbine to run his heating and light for his greenhouse. Nice idea in principle until the dam thing squeaked all day and night.

Thankfully his wife was driven to distraction and told Him " Either that goes or She does" .... I've seen her a couple of times in town but the wind turbine has gone.

Well, this family did live in rural Cornwall, so no squeaking worries. Unlike my next door neighbours, who have had to put up with my tenor sax-related squeaking on and off all day.

May I ask which company you used?
My step dad works for a company called Whitfield Solar, previously with a London based firm I forget the name of.
Two years ago I worked over the summer building a test solar collector (I doubt you'll have these as they're flat roof only, they track the course of the sun).
Mine is now on the roof of the cybernetics department of the University of Madrid, cool!

P.S they're very easy to build.

Note that these little horrors also love Fibracells.

Solar is becoming more efficient all the time with small panels creating more energy than old ones that were larger.

It's an Eppelsheim Soprillo aka piccolo sax. I mostly play it for the shock value and haven't fully mastered the instrument as I can only play up to Bb3.

Well I ordered both available mouthpieces. One was not very doable, the other just worked. But I really like how it freaks people out and my ol' dog just gets up and wanders outta the room when I pick it up.

I have a CD that features everything from the mighty tubax up to the soprillo, which in this case has an ethereal, almost pitched birdsong quality.
